i broke my internets

Still can't get online like i need to be doing, currently making good use our little drummer boys facilities.

Warped tour is going well so far, we sold out one batch of CDs already, fortunately we picking up our main stock today. Should last a while at least.

Pomona was hot and chaotic, everyone getting to grips with the tour and finding their place.
San Fransisco seemed a little better as everyone got into the swing of things and by the time we hit Ventura then it all felt how it should.

Fans going nuts for TAT which is cool, exactly as we left it two years ago.

Today we had a day off, buying up stuff we need, collecting the rest of our merch and piling into a mountain of laundry. This evening we will head off inland to wards Phoenix, hmm hot.

And So It Begins

Shortly i will be leaving the comforts of my Denver home, my good lady and my two boys (meow! to you both). I will be heading west to Los Angeles, Burbank to be precise where i am meeting up with the band and our merch queen. Ideally we will have everything we need, but who am i kidding, i am sure we will have to go get something.

Thursday is a rehearsal day and final preps as well as the day we pick up our home for the next two months, a shiny new RV, i would love to return it in identical condition but once again, who am i kidding?

Friday we kick off for real in Pomona where i am told it will be 93 degrees, add on 10-15 for the asphalt baking effect and we have potential for some prime english lobster.

check back for more later.

Fat Wreck Interlude

Am waiting for permission to post an exclusive so in the meantime have some kick ass Fat Wreck Tunes

Me First & The Gimme Gimme's - Country Roads

NOFX - Seeing Double At The Triple Rock

No Use For A Name - Biggest Lie

The Loved Ones - Sarah's Game

Good Riddance - Mother Superior

Go buy the records here, buy them on vinyl and claim you have been a fan since before you were born, maybe your mom listened when you were a helpless foetus or something. Whichever, make up a story so you can be more coolerer than the other guy with make up on.

Charlotte Sometimes

I borrowed the pic from myspace.

Looking forward to seeing this lot, it is a band, on Warped later this month. As i said it is a band, built around a Singer/Songwriter of the same name, performing name anyway. She certainly does appear to have the might of Universal behind her at the moment, hope it all works out and they don't expect a miraculous pay off straight away. Anyway here is the video for "How i Could Just Kill A Man', enjoy

The Living End

With Warped tour fast approaching it seems appropriate that i have been listening to "How Do We Know" off the new Living End album, "White Noise". Triple J posted it a few days ago, unfortunately it is no longer available for download but am sure you could find it if you are resourceful. It is available to stream along with a couple of other tracks from the new album on their myspace page. Also you can download the awesome 'Prisoner Of Society" from there too.

The Living End reminds me of 2006 Warped tour and one of the highlights, playing a backstage show on their last night on tour to mostly other bands and crew they rocked through some classics and covers before being joined for some AC/DC and, if i recall, Chuck Berry numbers by Valient Himself from rock legends Valient Thorr. Speaking of Valient Himself, that man is recovering after donating a kidney to his earth father. Hats off to him.
